bloodybook What a perfect ending to the series. After all the pain of 5 & 6, and then the total emptiness of this album, the penultimate track is like releasing a pressure valve. It feels as euphoric as “Jailbreak” off of Foley Artist, an ending I felt could never be matched. But this is also less perfect, the whole album a concerted effort to reach such a high and then falling again and again. The last couple second of track 11 feel like a gutpunch, but I don’t think I’d want it any other way. Cuts deep. Favorite track: DEDGDEDCDEDGDEOEGECEGHGCGOGCTCOCHCOTOHOTOHTHTHTHT.
